The Atlanta backstop opened the game's scoring with a 372-foot, two-run shot off Brady Singer in the fourth inning, marking just his fourth September hit in 43 plate appearances. This is the fourth time Murphy has reached double-digit homers in his six-year career. Overall, the 29-year-old is slashing .197/.284/.360 with 18 runs scored and 25 RBI in 257 plate appearances across 70 games.
