Angels outfielder Kole Calhoun was held out of the starting lineup Monday against the Rangers for a second straight day due to a calf injury. Collin Cowgill received a second straight start in right field in Calhoun's absence.
Calhoun said he is expected to be back in the lineup Tuesday, per The Orange County Register. He said he has been bothered by the calf injury for more than a week.
Calhoun is batting .200 (4 for 20) with one home run, two runs, two doubles, four RBI and five strikeouts in five games.
