The Cardinals recalled Dobbins from Triple-A Memphis on Monday.
Dobbins has made four starts and three relief appearances for St. Louis this season, logging a 3.74 ERA an 32:11 K:BB over 33.2 innings. It's unclear at this point whether the Cardinals have a start mapped out for Dobbins or if they plan to have him available in long relief.
