Herrera has operated as the No. 2 catcher behind Pedro Pages since Willson Contreras (finger) landed on the injured list. Herrera has a .281/.350/.382 slash line, three home runs, five steals, 22 RBI and 30 runs scored across 223 plate appearances this season.
