Double-A Springfield reinstated Rodriguez (wrist) from its 7-day injured list Wednesday.
Rodriguez is ready to play for the Double-A club for the first time since early May after he experienced a setback with the broken hamate bone he sustained in spring training back in February. The 24-year-old backstop received the green light to rejoin Springfield after completing a five-game rehab assignment in the rookie-level Florida Complex League.
