Nootbaar is not in the lineup for Monday's game in Cincinnati, John Denton of MLB.com reports.
Nootbaar has now been out of the lineup for six of the Cardinals' last 12 contests and each of the last three times they have faced a left-hander. He's slashed just .214/.280/.321 since coming off the injured list in early July and could see his playing time cut further after the Cardinals recalled outfielder Jordan Walker from Triple-A Memphis on Monday.
