Wacha picked up his third win on the season Friday, allowing two runs on five hits over six innings of work against the Phillies. He had two walks and two strikeouts.
Despite putting up a season-low in strikeouts, Wacha did enough to produce a nice night against Philadelphia. It was also the first time since May 19 he pitched past the fifth inning, as he had struggled, allowing 16 runs over 10.1 innings in his previous three starts.
