Wacha is scheduled to start Friday's series opener against the Giants, Jenifer Langosch of MLB.com reports.
Wacha will return to the mound after being skipped over the last time through the rotation to afford him some extra rest. This should push Carlos Martinez's next scheduled start back to Saturday. Wacha owns a 3.19 ERA and 34:9 K:BB through 36.2 innings (six starts) this season.
