DeJong went 2-for-3 with a solo home run in Saturday's 6-4 win over the Reds.
DeJong helped turn around an early deficit by putting St. Louis on the board with a 431-foot solo shot in the third inning. The long ball was his first in nearly a month, with his previous homer coming Aug. 12 against Pittsburgh. It has been a frustrating campaign overall for DeJong, who has slugged 17 homers but is slashing a meager .199/.291/.389 over 100 games.
