Goldschmidt went 0-for-4 with a walk and a stolen base in Friday's 6-1 win over the Twins.
Goldschmidt wasn't able to shake his slump at the plate after receiving an off day Thursday. He's gone just 3-for-31 (.097) over his last eight contests, striking out eight times in that span. The first baseman's now at a .226/.286/.383 slash line with 19 home runs, eight steals, 49 RBI and 59 runs scored through 122 games, putting him on pace for his worst numbers in a full season since his injury-shortened 2014 campaign.
