Helsley (5-4) struck out two and didn't put a runner on base in a scoreless inning to earn the extra-inning win over the Brewers on Wednesday.
Helsley had two strikeouts and a groundout to strand the initial runner at third base in the top of the 10th inning, and the Cardinals rallied for a walk-off win on Nolan Arenado's grand slam in the bottom of the frame. For the season, the St. Louis closer has a 2.56 ERA, 1.22 WHIP and 60:22 K:BB while converting 38 of 41 save chances across 52.2 innings.
