Contreras is not in the lineup for Thursday's game in Atlanta.

Andrew Knizner will start at catcher and bat eighth as the Cardinals aim to pull off a surprising three-game sweep of the runaway NL East leaders. Contreras went 2-for-4 with a homer and three RBI in Wednesday night's 11-6 victory.
