Astros slugger Chris Carter drove in five runs Friday night in Anaheim. Carter hit a three-run shot off Joe Blanton in the ninth inning for his 23rd homer of the season.
Carter added a sacrifice fly RBI in the fifth inning and an RBI single in the seventh to finish with five runs driven in on the game. He now has 61 RBI on the season for Houston.
Batting fifth, Carter went 2 for 4 in the game with two strikeouts. He's batting .213 on the season. The 26-year-old has four homers and nine RBI in his last seven games.
