White Sox pitcher Chris Sale tossed a strong start Friday against the Indians.

Sale gave up one run on five hits over six innings. He struck out five and walked one during the outing. Sale gave up his only run in the first inning. After a two-out single, Sale allowed a stolen base to Michael Brantley. Brantley was able to advance to third on a throwing error. Carlos Santana managed to knock Brantley in on a single. He settled in at that point, tossing five scoreless innings before being pulled after the sixth inning. Sale threw 98 pitches.

Sale earned the no-decision for his efforts. He’ll take on the Athletics in his next start.
