White Sox pitcher Chris Sale will likely miss his next start on Tuesday because of general soreness, manager Robin Ventura told Comcast SportsNet Chicago. Ventura indicated that Sales' soreness is similar to what he's experienced the past two seasons.
Sale has permitted only four runs over his last 20 innings pitched. He owns a 2.30 ERA, a 0.84 WHIP with a 29:7 K:BB ratio over that span. He'll likely be re-examined before making his next start.
