The Angels released Laweryson on Friday.
Laweryson cleared waivers after being designated for assignment, but the Halos have elected to cut him loose rather than outright him to the minors. The right-handed reliever posted a 7:0 K:BB while yielding two runs (one earned) over 7.2 innings with the Twins in 2025.
