Astros pitcher Collin McHugh left Monday's start against the Indians because of a forearm contusion, the team announced. He was in the midst of another dominant outing before leaving the game in the seventh inning with the issue.

McHugh allowed one unearned run on five hits and no walks while striking out seven over 6 2/3 innings of work. Of his 90 pitches, 59 were strikes. He owns a 2.66 ERA and a 1.03 WHIP over 24 starts (148 2/3 innings). It remains to be seen if he'll be cleared to make his next start on Sunday against Seattle.
