Indians pitcher Corey Kluber couldn't make it through the third inning in Monday's loss, allowing five earned runs on seven hits and two walks in 2 2/3 innings while striking out two and surrendering three home runs in his team's 12-1 defeat against the Tigers.
Kluber (13-9) had a rare off performance Monday, giving up as many home runs as he had surrendered in his previous 11 starts combined. The dud ends his streak of quality starts at eight games. Kluber owns a 2.72 ERA, 1.13 WHIP and 215:46 K:BB ratio in 195 1/3 innings. He's scheduled to face the White Sox Saturday.
