Davis (concussion) was optioned to Triple-A Iowa by the Cubs on Friday, Meghan Montemurro of the Chicago Tribune reports.
Davis suffered a concussion in his third Cactus League game and had not yet returned to action, although he has resumed activities. The 24-year-old was a prized prospect a couple years ago but has struggled to stay healthy and productive the last two seasons.
