Cubs' Doug Nikhazy: Sent outright to Triple-A

The Cubs outrighted Nikhazy to Triple-A Iowa on Wednesday.

He's no longer on the 40-man roster but will remain in the organization after passing through waivers unclaimed. Nikhazy has collected an 8.44 ERA and 30:21 K:BB over 26.2 innings covering six starts and two relief outings with Triple-A Iowa this season.
