Happ went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Friday's 6-4 loss to the Reds.
Happ tied the game for the Cubs in the third inning with his 24th home run of the year before Cincinnati surged ahead. The veteran outfielder hadn't gone deep since Aug. 25 and is batting just .212 with a .646 OPS in 20 games since then. Despite the slump, Happ should remain a lineup regular in the last week of the regular season as Chicago jockeys for playoff positioning.
