Paredes is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Marlins.

Paredes was withheld from the lineup last Sunday versus the Blue Jays due to shoulder discomfort, but he returned to start each of Chicago's' last five games while going 3-for-22 at the plate. The Cubs haven't suggested that he's still being nagged by the shoulder, so Paredes' absence for the series finale in Miami is likely just a maintenance day.
