Baez was forced to exit Sunday's game following a collision at second base, Bruce Levine of 670TheScore.com reports.
Baez appeared to take a knee to the head in the collision and wasn't quite himself afterward. Look for the team to clarify his status when more information is known, but for now, Mike Freeman will take over at shortstop. Baez drew a walk in his only at-bat prior to the early exit.
