Baez is in the lineup for Friday's game against the Braves.

Baez has started just five games since joining the Cubs in mid-April, but he will get the nod at third base Friday with Kris Bryant (ankle) out, and will hit fifth against Braves starter Aaron Blair. Bryant is not facing a long-term absence but could be out a couple days, according to Paul Sullivan of the Chicago Tribune, which could result in more starts for Baez in the near future.
