Conforto is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Reds.
The left-handed-hitting Conforto will head to the bench for the third time in four games, with all three of his absences coming against left-handed pitching. He'll give up his spot in the lineup to Kevin Alcantara, who will occupy the designated-hitter spot and bat ninth.
