Amaya went 3-for-4 with a walk, a double and two runs scored in Saturday's 14-2 win over the Marlins.

Amaya has been on a hot streak at the plate, as he's gone 8-for-12 with two home runs, five total runs scored and seven RBI over his last three games. That's upped the catcher's season-long average from .212 to .233, and as the unquestioned starter in Chicago with only veteran Christian Bethancourt around for depth, Amaya should have plenty of opportunities to build on his recent success.
