Contreras is back in the lineup for the Cubs on Friday against the Yankees, batting seventh and catching.

The youngster was one of four Cubbies to whom Joe Maddon gave a day off in their Thursday matinee. Contreras will duel with Michael Pineda on Friday afternoon.
