Astros pitcher Dallas Keuchel didn’t pitch particularly well Wednesday, but still managed to pick up a win.

Keuchel allowed four runs on eight hits over 6 2/3 innings of work. He walked one and struck out three during the appearance. The Rangers got on Keuchel early. Adrian Beltre managed a run-scoring single in the first inning, which opened the scoring. After loading the bases in the second, Keuchel gave up a two-run double to Daniel Robertson. Shin-Soo Choo then added a sacrifice fly, finishing the scoring.

Keuchel settled in at that point, giving up three hits over the last four-plus innings. The win brings Keuchel to 9-5 on the year. His next start is likely to come shortly after the All-Star Game.
