Astros pitcher Dallas Keuchel turned in a quality start Friday against the Red Sox.
Keuchel allowed three runs on six hits over seven innings of work. He struck out eight and walked three during the outing. Keuchel was hurt by the long ball early. After putting David Ortiz on base to open the fourth, Keuchel gave up a two-run shot to Yoenis Cespedes. Keuchel settled in for a few innings before giving up an additional run in the seventh.
Keuchel left with the game tied, giving him a no-decision. He’ll take on the Yankees in his next start.
