Astros starting pitcher Dallas Keuchel ended a rough season with a rough start Wednesday, in a 7-3 loss to the Rangers.
Keuchel was handed a 3-1 lead in the top of the fourth inning, but fell behind almost immediately with a disastrous bottom half. Keuchel ultimately took the loss, his 10th of the season, while allowing seven runs -- six earned -- over 5 2/3 innings of work. He struck out five batters and walked three, while allowing six hits.
Keuchel finished the season 6-10 with a 5.15 ERA in 153 2/3 innings. 22 of Keuchel's 31 appearances came as a starter, but he does not have a guaranteed spot in the rotation next season.
