Aardsma was released by the Blue Jays on Monday, Sportsnet reports.
The 34-year-old reliever will hit the market without having recorded a save since 2010. Aardsma is most recognized for his 2009 and 2010 seasons, in which he saved 38 and 31 games, respectively, for Seattle.
