Carroll went 2-for-4 with a solo home run, a double, a walk, a stolen base and two total runs scored in Friday's 10-9 loss to the Dodgers.

Carroll extended his hitting streak to nine games, a span in which he's gone 12-for-36 (.333) with five homers and 11 RBI. The outfielder's steal was his first since Aug. 7. In August, Carroll is batting .278 (27-for-97) with 10 homers, 22 RBI, four triples and one double over 26 contests. It's an encouraging sign that he's getting back to the form that made him the NL Rookie of the Year in 2023. Overall, Carroll has a .227/.314/.422 slash line with 18 homers, 61 RBI, 98 runs scored, 22 steals, 17 doubles and 12 triples over 131 games this season.
