Carroll went 2-for-3 with a home run and a walk in a 1-0 win against the Tigers on Wednesday.

Carroll's homer was particularly impressive, coming off Tigers ace Tarik Skubal in the opening frame to bring home the game's only run. Over his first 25 plate appearances, the All-Star outfielder is slashing .333/.400/.762 with two long balls, one double, one triple and eight RBI. Carroll has hit safely in five of six contests and has worked a walk in three straight.
