The Dodgers designated Honeywell for assignment Sunday.

Honeywell was claimed off waivers by the Dodgers on July 13 after being DFA'd by the Pirates one day earlier. In his 10 outings with the Dodgers, Honeywell picked up one save while logging a 2.21 ERA and 1.18 WHIP across 20.1 innings. The 29-year-old could garner some interest on the waiver wire from a team in need of right-handed depth out of the bullpen. In a corresponding move, the Dodgers selected the contract of right-hander Ben Casparius from Triple-A Oklahoma City.
