Taylor (groin) kicked off a minor-league rehab assignment with Triple-A Oklahoma City on Friday, going 1-for-4 with an RBI double.
Taylor went on the injured list July 25 due to a left groin strain, and he's well past the minimum IL stay. It's not clear how long the utility man's rehab assignment will last, and he may not receive consistent playing time upon his return to the Dodgers. Since Taylor landed on the IL, Mookie Betts has returned from a hand injury, Gavin Lux has nailed down an everyday role at second base and Kevin Kiermaier has joined the team via trade. Both Tommy Edman (wrist/ankle) and Max Muncy (oblique) are also currently in the midst of rehab stints and could be activated ahead of Taylor.
