Seager underwent an MRI that revealed swelling and inflammation in his injured elbow, Andy McCullough of the Los Angeles Times reports.
Seager will remain shut down through at least Monday. Although swelling and inflammation certainly can't be considered good news, it's better than the alternative of structural damage. Seager will attempt to throw next week, and his return plan will be dictated by the results of those sessions.
