The Dodgers signed Pomeranz to a minor-league contract Friday.
Pomeranz was in camp with the Angels this spring before being released prior to Opening Day. The veteran left-hander last pitched in the majors in 2021, having dealt with elbow problems the last couple years. Pomeranz has been excellent in relief when healthy, so he makes plenty of sense on a no-risk, minor-league pact.
