Flaherty (12-7) allowed four runs on five hits and four walks while striking out four over three innings to take the loss versus Atlanta on Saturday.
The four walks were a season high for Flaherty, who fell short of the five-inning mark for the first time all year. Just 45 of his 83 pitches went for strikes in this poor performance, which came one start after his longest outing of the year, a 7.1-inning scoreless spectacle versus the Guardians last Sunday. Flaherty is now at a 3.04 ERA, 1.05 WHIP and 184:33 K:BB through 151 innings between the Dodgers and Tigers this year. He would appear to have a good chance to bounce back his next time out, as he's projected to start in Miami.
