Amaya was added to the Dodgers' 60-man player pool Monday, Jorge Castillo of the Los Angeles Times reports.

He will report to the Dodgers' alternate training site at USC after being a non-roster invitee during spring training. Amaya, who turns 22 on Sept. 3, has displayed excellent plate skills in the minors, but he has never posted an ISO higher than .132 in full-season ball. He most recently hit .250/.307/.375 with one home run and one steal in 21 games at High-A.
