Maeda (1-1) allowed four runs on five hits and one walk while striking out five in five innings to defeat the Rockies on Sunday.
It was another shaky performance for Maeda, who lost to the lowly Padres in his first start of the year. However, most fantasy owners were probably wary of this one at Coors Field. The good news is that he's struck out nine in his first 10 innings, and if his control remains solid, he'll reward fantasy owners sooner than later.
