Forsythe is out of the lineup for Friday's game against the Nationals, Eric Stephen of True Blue LA reports.
Forsythe will occupy a seat on the bench for the second time in the past three games after going 1-for-3 with an RBI and a double during Wednesday's contest. In his place, Chase Utley draws a start for the series opener.
