Ryan (forearm) will undergo an MRI on Sunday to discern the severity of his injury and will be placed on the injured list, Eric Stephen of SBNation.com reports.
Ryan was removed from Saturday's start against the Pirates in the fifth inning due to forearm tightness, and the injury is more significant than initially expected. The 25-year-old has shined in limited playing time for the Dodgers, posting a 1.33 ERA with 19 strikeouts in 15.2 innings, but his impressive rookie campaign will be paused for an uncertain amount of time. Sunday's MRI should give fantasy managers a more accurate timeline for Ryan's absence.
