The Dodgers designated Erlin for assignment Wednesday.
Erlin's stay with the big club lasted just four days after the Dodgers summoned him from Triple-A Oklahoma City in advance of Saturday's doubleheader with the Cubs. He made two appearances out of the bullpen for Los Angeles, giving up two earned runs across two innings. If Erlin is able to clear waivers, he'll likely slot back into the rotation at Oklahoma City.
