The 29-year-old was struck in the back by a throw and removed from the matinee as a precaution, according to manager Dave Roberts, and the shortstop's return to the lineup for Game 2 further indicates the issue isn't a serious concern. Turner extended his hit streak to 16 games by going 1-for-3 prior to his exit.
