Blue Jays pitcher Esmil Rogers had a hard time keeping the ball in the park as he suffered his seventh loss of the season Friday night against the A's in Toronto.

Rogers served up homers to Jed Lowrie, Yoenis Cespedes and Josh Reddick. The right-hander was shelled for seven runs on seven hits and two walks over three innings of work in a 14-6 defeat.

Rogers has lost three consecutive starts, while allowing 20 earned runs combined over that span (12 1/3 innings). He is scheduled to make his next start Wednesday at home against the Red Sox.
