Rogers signed a one -year, $1.9 million guaranteed contract with the Hanwha Eagles of the Korean Baseball Organization.

It was expected that Rogers would follow former Rockies catcher Wilin Rosario to the KBO, and he did so for a much bigger paycheck than he would've received in the United States for his services. The 30-year-old had a 6.27 ERA out of the Yankee bullpen last season, but he'll try to boost his stock in Korea and possibly garner higher demand in the U.S. in the future.
