Doval allowed one hit in a scoreless inning while striking out one to earn a save over Colorado on Saturday.
Doval entered with a three-run lead in the ninth and saw the tying run come up to the plate, but he managed to come out unscathed for the save. It was Doval's 19th save in his 23rd opportunity, a far cry from his league-leading 39 saves last season. The 27-year-old has a 4.28 ERA through 40 innings, but a high walk total has led to a 1.60 WHIP thus far.
