Schmitt (arm) underwent X-rays that came back negative after exiting Sunday's game against the Dodgers, Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Schmitt was removed from Sunday's matchup shortly after being hit by a pitch on his right arm, but he doesn't appear to be dealing with any structural damage. He should tentatively be considered day-to-day ahead of Monday's series opener against the Padres.
