Blanco is out of Wednesday's lineup against San Diego, Henry Schulman of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
Blanco will retreat to the bench for a second straight day with southpaw Robbie Erlin on the hill for the Padres. In his place, Chris Shaw will draw another start in left field.
