Ramos is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Marlins.
Ramos has gone 0-for-11 with four strikeouts over the Giants' previous three contests, so he'll get a breather while Jerar Encarnacion enters the lineup as the team's designated hitter. The 25-year-old outfielder had started in each of the Giants' last 23 games, slashing .244/.303/.478 during that stretch.
